Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a PPA Teacher to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Sutton Coldfield to join their staff team on a long-term basis.

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to cover PPA time across school from EYFS up to KS2. Responsibilities as a PPA Teacher include making lessons engaging, marking all completed work and maintaining high levels of good behaviour in the classroom.

Planning will not be required as you will delivering pre planned lessons.


This PPA Teacher role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is part time, 3 days a week.

Required Skills and Experience for this PPA Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Commitment to the role
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
  • Marking and assessments
  • Raise children’s attainment
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effectively work alongside teaching assistants and other members of staff
Working for Flourish Education as a PPA Teacher you will receive:
  • £130 day rate to £180 day rate which equates to £25,350 per annum to £35,100 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This PPA Teacher opportunity is located in Sutton Coldfield which is easily commutable from Castle Vale, Castle Bromwich, Erdington, Tamworth, Coleshill, Aldridge, Kingstanding, Perrybar and many more areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train.
