Flourish Education are seeking an adaptable PPA Teacher to work on a part-time basis at a Primary School in the Selly Oak area. This role will involve working across all year groups, covering PPA and delivering lessons across the school.
You will need to be confident teaching across a range of year groups and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. The role will involve delivering the appropriate curriculum, managing behaviour and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils.
The school is an inclusive and caring community that supports children’s wellbeing and learning through a broad curriculum and positive relationships with families.
Responsibilities as a PPA Teacher:
- Teaching across all year groups within the Primary School
- Covering PPA and delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Following the appropriate curriculum for each year group
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Working closely with teachers and support staff
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Skills and Experience as a Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within a Primary School setting
- Confidence teaching across different year groups
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- Adaptable and organised approach
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment
