Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a PPA Teacher in Gloucester on a part-time basis. The PPA teacher will begin at the start of the summer term in April and will run until the end of the academic year.

Our client is a 2-form entry mainstream primary school that has recently attained “Good” in their recent Ofsted inspection. The school is located in Hucclecote with the school being accessible by public transport and is also accessible from the M5. The school offers onsite parking.

The position is for a primary school teacher, working 2 full days on Mondays and Tuesdays. You will be covering classes from Year 1 – Year 6 . You must be committed to a long-term post.

The PPA Teacher role

  • The school requires a flexible teacher to cover classes from Year 1 up to Year 6.
  • Responsibilities will include making lessons engaging, marking all completed work, and raising attainment.
  • Managing behaviours for all year groups.
  • Commitment to a long-term role.

Required Skills and Experience for this PPA Teacher Role:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early Career Teachers (ECT) are encouraged to apply.
  • The ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
  • Deliver pre planned lessons.
  • Experience across KS1 –KS2
  • Raise children’s attainment.
  • Being flexible when required
