PPA Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking a passionate and adaptable PPA Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Worcester from January 2026. This role will be covering maternity leave across the spring and summer terms until July 2026.

As the PPA Teacher, you will work two days in Year 5 and two days within KS1, providing high-quality teaching and ensuring continuity of learning across classes. There will be planning and assessment responsibilities involved, and you’ll work closely with class teachers and support staff to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements for this PPA Teacher role:

  • Valid teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching in a classroom across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum expectations.
  • Flexibility/experience working in a number of year groups.
  • A nurturing and caring approach to young people.
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

This role is located in the Worcester area. On-site parking is available, with public transport routes also accessible from the nearby areas of Bransford, Powick, Upper Broadheath, and Upper Wick.
