Primary Supply Teacher

Job Description

Interested in working day-to-day teaching roles in your area, where you want them, and when you want them? Or have you just recently graduated and want to gain more experience working in schools on a short-term basis?

Look no further, as Flourish Education are seeking a qualified teacher to work near central Wolverhampton in local primary schools on a day-booking basis only.

This role is ideal for individuals who are looking for more flexibility in their lives to make time for other activities and commitments. This allows you to pick which roles you would like on days that suit you! Additionally, working day-to-day supply is beneficial for new teachers who lack experience in the classroom and want to venture into new school settings to build on their learning.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will not be expected to plan lessons, but you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and mark students’ work in line with each school’s policy. You will have high expectations of the student’s behaviour, work alongside the class Teaching Assistant and create a positive learning environment.

We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher to start immediately.

To apply for this Supply Teacher role, you will need:

  • Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer
  • A minimum of 2 references from the last 24 months from an educational background

Our Promise To You!

We promise that we will never pressure you into working and will only offer you work where and when you want it, allowing you to fit work around your other commitments – giving you a great work life balance.
