Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Primary school near Sparkbrook to join their staff on a long-term basis. 

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 5 class who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons and monitor students’ progress. This Class Teacher role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning and marking. PPA time will be given.

This Primary Teacher role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in KS2, as a Primary Teacher
  • Experience working in Primary Schools in the UK
  • Commitment to the role
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
  • Marking and assessments
  • Raise children’s attainment
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effectively work alongside teaching assistants
Working for Flourish Education as a Primary Teacher you will receive:
  • £168.80 day rate to £232.57 day rate which equates to £32,916 per annum to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Primary Teacher opportunity is located near Sparkbrook which is easily commutable from Balsall Heath, Tyseley, Acocks Green, Moseley, Bordesley Green, Kings Heath, Yardley, Small Heath and most areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train.
