Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work at a partnership school in Saltley, Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting in November and running up until the end of the 26/27 Academic year.

The school require a teacher to work within a Year 6 Class, taking on the responsibilities of planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum, marking, SATS preparation and attending CPD.

Required Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:
  • Taking on full class teacher responsibilities. This includes planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Working alongside another class teacher to help prepare Students for SATS.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and differentiating lessons for children of all abilities.
  • Working collaboratively with the other Year 6 teacher and class TA within the school

Working as a Primary Teacher, you will have the following skills:
  • Prior experience teaching to upper KS2 children (Year 5 and 6) in the UK.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Experience preparing students for Year 6 SATS.
  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess through engaging structured lessons.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
