Looking for a Year 6 Class Teacher role? Flourish Education are looking to recruit a Year 6 Primary Teacher to work in a one-form entry school on a long-term and full-time basis. This KS2 Primary Teacher position has the potential to become permanent from the following academic year.

Our client has been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is in the Brownhills region of Walsall and aim to enable children to be happy, engaged and positive about their future. They are looking to recruit an experienced Year 6 Class Teacher who can support these attributes and has experience of preparing children for SATS.

As a Primary Teacher in our client's school, in KS2, you will be responsible for but not limited to planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teacher assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy and attending meetings where necessary. The ideal candidate for this Year 6 Teacher position would have previous expereince of leading SATS but this is not essential and ECTS are encouraged to apply.

This Primary Teacher role is due to start in January and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year with the potential of a permanent position for September 2025.

To apply for this Year 6 Class Teacher role, you will need:

  • Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to the role
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement

  • A competitive salary of up to £223.62 per day which equates up to £43,605.90 per annum based on working 5 days per week for the full academic year (this will also be paid to scale after 12 weeks)
