Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a flexible role in Cheltenham? Flourish Education is seeking dedicated educators to join our team as a Supply Teacher, offering the opportunity to work in local Primary Schools on days that suit you. Whether you’re an experienced Class Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role is perfect for achieving a great work-life balance while contributing to children’s education.


As a Primary Teacher, your role will include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Adapting to different classroom environments as a Supply Teacher.
  • Supporting children’s learning and development while maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with school staff to ensure seamless learning experiences.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of various Primary Schools.

To succeed as a Primary Teacher, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and fostering children’s development.
  • Experience in a Class Teacher role is preferred but not essential.

This Primary Teacher position is based in Cheltenham, easily commutable from Bishop's Cleeve, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, and Bourton-on-the-Water. The schools offer excellent transport links and onsite parking.
