Flourish Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Coleshill based Primary School which has been rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. Our client is looking to recruit a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 3 class on a part time and short-term basis until the end of the summer term working Thursdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities will include planning for the whole week with an allocated PPA time on a Thursday morning leaving teaching time for Thursday afternoon and Friday. The Year 3 Primary Teacher will be expected to continually assess, deliver engaging creative lessons, and mark students work in line with school policy.

This Year 3 Primary Teaching role is due to start after the Easter holidays and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for this Primary Teacher Role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • High expectations of pupil behaviour.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum specifically lower Key Stage 2
  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons for the Year 3 class.
  • To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
  • Experience Teaching in KS2.

This Primary Teacher role is in Coleshill which is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Water Orton, Curdworth, Marston Green, Chelmond’s Cross and Bodymoor Heath.
