Flourish Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Primary school in Coventry on a full-time basis. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 6 class. The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of the Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum.

As an KS2 Primary Teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside Teaching Assistants, safeguard all students, mark student’s work in line with the school’s policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota, and create a positive learning environment.

This Primary Teacher role is due to start after Easter until the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for this Primary Teacher Role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum especially upper KS2
  • High expectations of pupil behaviour
  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons.
  • To be able to work in partnership with the class TA and other staff members.
  • To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
