Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher in KS2 you will be expected to have excellent curriculum knowledge. It is likely that the post will be in Year 5, but there is an element of flexibility depending on the strengths of the applicant.
As this role is at a Forest School, previous experience or qualification in this would be an advantage. You will also have good behaviour management and the ability to differentiate lessons effectively. There is a wide range of abilities in this class, from over-achievers to children who are achieving significantly below average, so your lessons must be diverse and creative in order to engage all children.
The school would ideally like to recruit a teacher with at least 2 years of experience, although strong NQT’s are also welcome to apply and will be considered.
