Are you a teacher looking for a regular part-time role?

Flourish Education are looking for a teacher to join one of our schools from January 2024 on an ongoing basis. The school is based in the Rowley Regis area and are currently looking to recruit a part-time teacher to work with a Year 5 class, 2 days per week. Someone who has good subject knowledge and experience within Upper Key Stage Two is preferred.

Planning is not required so it is a great way to gain regular work without the commitments of a full-time post.

Job role

  • Teaching a Year 5 class
  • Follow planning/work left by the class teacher
  • Follow the school’s LIVE marking policy
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress/attainment
  • Attend CPD relevant to the role with other teachers/staff
  • Part-time (2 days per week), long-term role

Required skills and experience

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Good subject knowledge
  • Experience as a teacher KS2
  • Able to liaise with other staff/work in collaboration
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

The intervention teacher role is within a school in the Rowley Regis area. For those travelling by public transport the school can be easily reached from the surrounding areas of Cradley Heath, Brandhall, Bartley Green, Harborne and Halesowen The school has on-site parking for those travelling further including Dudley, Sandwell and Stourbridge, as well as Hagley and Birmingham.
