We are recruiting for a primary teacher to work part-time basis for a mainstream primary school for a small village primary school in between Gloucester and Stroud. This role will be a job share and you will be sharing the planning and marking with the other class teacher.
Our client is a 0.5-form-entry mainstream primary school with great team cohesion and a head teacher that is very welcoming and who lives and breathes the school’s vision.
This job is to begin in September and will be for an ongoing basis. Reception and Key Stage 1 experience is essential for this role. The suitable candidate will also be committed for a long-term post.
The Primary Teacher’s role
- Plan and deliver lessons with engaging and creative methods and mark work for the class.
- Create a positive learning environment.
- Work alongside the teaching assistant.
- Effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
Required skills and experience for the Primary Teacher role.
- Experience in teaching across primary schools, children centres and nurseries including EYFS.
- Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS primary.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous Supply Teacher experience not required.
