Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Yardley to join their staff team. The school's vision is to provide an education that meets the needs of all of the children and enables them to become successful, confident citizens who are able to think critically and creatively. 

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to cover PPA time across Key Stage Two (KS2). Responsibilities as a PPA Teacher include making lessons engaging, marking all completed work and maintaining high levels of good behaviour in the classroom. Planning will not be required as you will delivering pre planned lessons.

This Primary Teacher role will start after Easter and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in KS2
  • Commitment to the role
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
  • Marking and assessments
  • Raise children’s attainment
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effectively work alongside teaching assistants

This Primary Teacher opportunity is located in Yardley which is easily commutable from areas such as Tyseley, Small Heath, Saltley, Sparkhill, Stechford, Bordesley Green, Balsall Heath and most areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train. The Primary School also has an on-site car park.
