Are you a passionate Psychology Teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Psychology Teacher to begin their role immediately on a long-term basis.

This secondary school with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, has strong community values and is looking for a qualified teacher in psychology to join their department for their Key Stage 4 and 5 Students. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and challenging learning environment that will enable students to develop their understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver psychology lessons.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Work with the Head of the Department on any planning and delivery.
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

Required skills and experience for the Psychology Teacher role:

  • Experienced Psychology Teacher in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
  • Must be a specialist in the subject.
  • Passion for fostering critical thinking, understanding of human behaviour, and research skills in students.
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Psychology.
