The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and will have full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment.
As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Full class responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment
- Delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Supporting the academic and personal development of pupils
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging high levels of engagement
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed
Required Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this RE Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK Secondary School
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Religious Education
- Excellent subject knowledge and effective behaviour management skills
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people and supporting their progress
Working as an RE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
- Pay from £174.71–£240.70 per day, which equates to £34,068–£46,937 per annum based on working five days per week for a full school year (salary will be pro rata for this part-time role)
