Flourish Education are recruiting for a full-time RE Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Northfield. This full-time position is due to start in October 2026 and will continue until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment.
As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Full class responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment
- Delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating an engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department
- Supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils
- Building positive relationships with students, staff and parents
Required Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this RE Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK Secondary School
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Religious Education
- Excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- A passion for inspiring young people and helping them achieve their potential
