Reception Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a Reception Teacher to work at a 2-form entry Primary School located in Bedworth.

Working as a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for but not limited to planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teacher assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy and attending meetings where necessary.

This role is a full-time and long-term position with the potential of being taken on permanently at our client’s school in September 2024. Home visits will be carried out as part of this role with the Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidates must have sound knowledge of the Early Years Framework and be eager to learn and inspire the children.

To apply for this Reception Teacher role, you will need:

  • Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer
  • A minimum of 2 references from the last 24 months from an educational background
