Reception Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking an adaptable Teacher to work with a Reception class at a school located in Quinton. This role is to start immediately and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. This role is a part time role working 2 days a week.
 
You will support teaching and learning within the Reception setting, delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the EYFS framework. The role involves supporting children’s development through engaging activities, promoting positive behaviour, and maintaining a safe, well-organised classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities as a Reception Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive relationships.
  • Support learning through play-based and structured activities.
 
Required Skills and Experience as a Reception Teacher :
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working within a primary school environment, specifically in a Reception classroom setting.
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide a calm environment.
