Flourish Education are recruiting a Reception Teacher to work in a one-form entry, OFSTED rated ‘GOOD’ School based in the south of Coventry. Our client is looking to recruit a Reception Teacher to work on a full-time and short-term basis for the summer term.

Responsibilities will include planning, assessing, and marking students work in line with the school policy, deliver engaging and creative lessons and working alongside the teaching assistant.

This Reception Teacher vacancy is due to start after Easter and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for this Reception Teacher Role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • High expectations of pupil behaviour.
  • Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum specifically EYFS.
  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons for the reception class.
  • To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members.
  • To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.

This Reception Teacher role is located South of Coventry which is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Redditch. The school has onsite parking.
