We are currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a thriving, Ofsted-rated GOOD Primary School in Gloucester. This opportunity offers full-time work in a supportive Early Years setting. If you're a passionate Primary Teacher looking for a new role from September, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. Please note we offer PAYE only, and holiday pay is accrued at 12.07% of your daily rate.
JOB ROLE:
• Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS and National Curriculum
• Assess pupil progress and maintain detailed records
• Liaise with parents, carers, and SLT as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Promote excellent behaviour management in line with school policy
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Experience working in a Primary School setting
• Sound understanding of the National Curriculum, especially EYFS and transition to Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Confident teaching within a Class Teacher capacity
• Excellent behaviour management strategies
• Passionate Primary Teacher with a nurturing, inclusive teaching style
• Experience with Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) beneficial
Working as a Reception Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
• £120.00 to £130.00 per day which equates to £23,400 to £25,350 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

LOCATION:
This Reception Teacher position is based in Gloucester and is easily commutable from Tewkesbury, Cinderford, Hereford and Lydney. The Primary School is accessible via public transport and offers on-site parking.
