Reception Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a Primary School in Rugeley. This is a full-time Reception Class Teacher position, starting in September 2026 and continuing until December 2026 with the potential for this to become permeant for the right candidate. 

The school is seeking a confident Primary Teacher who can plan engaging lessons that meet the expectations of the National Curriculum. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Teacher with excellent behaviour management and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. Knowledge and experience of the Little Wandle phonics programme is essential.

Required skills and experience for this Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience as a Primary Teacher or EYFS Class Teacher
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Confidence teaching within EYFS
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the Read Write Inc phonics scheme
