Job Description

Flourish Education are recruting for a passionate and ambitious Reception Teacher to work in a 3-form entry Primary School, on a full-time and long-term basis in the Darlaston area.

As a Reception teacher working at our client’s school, a minimum of two years’ experience is required. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and have knowlddge of the Read, Write Inc scheme of work.

You will be expected to plan and assess students work, deliver engaging and creative lessons, work alongside the teaching assistant and mark the students work.

This exciting opportunity within the Darlaaston area is ideal for a committed Reception Teacher to start ASAP and carry on until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Required skills and experience for this Reception Teacher Role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • High expectations of pupil behaviour
  • The ability to plan and deliver lessons across different year groups
  • To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members
  • To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
  • A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months
