Our people are what make us here at Flourish and we are a hugely supportive, slightly bonkers, friendly and dedicated team.

As part of our growth plans, we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Recruitment Team Leader to drive our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) division.

As this is a new role for the business, we are very happy to consider those at Recruitment Consultant level who are keen to progress, through to Recruitment Manager or Team Leader level. We are also very happy to consider those from a SEND teaching background who may be looking to transition into a Recruitment Consultant role.

About The Role

As SEND Team Leader you will build on Flourish Education’s already well-developed presence in the education sector and over time, will develop a dedicated SEND team, leading on sales and business growth, whilst supporting your team’s personal and professional development.

Whilst our consultants already fill SEND roles across the majority of our schools, a dedicated SEND division is a new and exciting adventure for Flourish.  As SEND Team Leader you will develop both new and existing clients, continuing to deliver quality through great service to our candidates and schools.

You will also be responsible for:

-         Managing the growth and development of our SEND division - Identifying and targeting new clients

-         Work collaboratively and build strong, long-term partnerships with clients and prospects

-         Understand client and candidate requirements and source relevant candidates via multiple sources

-         Establish a personal brand, utilizing social channels to build networks and position yourself as a thought leader within your market

-         Weekly visits with schools for service reviews, briefings or to congratulate our Flourish Champions

-         Assist in recruiting and developing a SEND team

-         Ensure both you and your team meet our compliance standards for candidate registration

-         Keep up to date with market/sector knowledge and encourage and support your team to do the same

-         Build strong relationships with the wider team and direct reports

-         Ensure your team are on track and aware of expectations in line with company standards

-         Ensure you and your team embody our culture and company values –

‘Success is achieved as a collective’, ‘We deliver quality through great service’, ‘We always act with integrity and transparency’, ‘We act urgently and are always accountable, We pursue growth through learning’.

-         Team assessment and continuous development – including identifying coaching / mentoring needs and monthly / quarterly / annual 1:1 meetings

-         Regularly reporting of our key results areas

We’re huge on accountability and autonomy for everyone here at Flourish and believe wholeheartedly in continuous growth and development.

We love to acknowledge hard work and offer plenty of progression opportunity wherever and whenever we can. We’ve got big growth plans too!

We’ll be looking for you to instill this in your team as it grows and lead by example.

About You

It is essential for this role that you have existing experience within the recruitment or teaching sector and ideally within an Education or SEND specific role.

Education experience specifically is by no means essential, but would be attractive.

Candidates must drive and have an appropriate driver’s license.

Our senior leaders have an open-door policy, and the team is included wherever possible in the company’s decision-making process.

We support and invest in our people. We want our team to thrive, to pursue their dreams and to succeed in life.

We are on a path of continuous improvement that has brought sustained growth for the business, and we are bringing our team with us.

We’re a certified ‘Great Place to Work UK’ Company.
