Job Description

Flourish Education are currently working in partnership with a local school in Acocks Green, Birmingham who are recruiting for a School Administrator to join their staff team on a temporary basis.

This is a front facing role based in the school office and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective administrative support for the school to ensure a smooth operational running on a day-to-day basis. Duties will include dealing with parent’s queries, liaising with all staff, answering telephone calls, inputting data and welcoming visitors. Previous experience working in a school in an administrative role is essential. Experience using SIMS or CMIS is required.

This School Administrator position is a full-time role starting immediately and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.  

Required Skills and Experience for this School Administrator role:

  • Previous experience working in an administrator or receptionist role within a school.
  • Strong IT Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection
  • Experience using SIMS or CMIS is required. 

Working for Flourish Education as a School Administrator you will receive:

  • Competitive salary- Day rate of £91.56 to £110.00 which equates to an annual salary of £17,854.20 to £21,450 per annum, based on working 5 days per week.

This Primary School role is based at a school near Acocks Green which is easily accessible from Tyseley, Spark Hill, Hall green, Moseley, Yardley, Small Heath, Billesley, Solihull, Sheldon and Olton. Onsite parking is available, but the school has good public transportation links.
