Flourish Education are recruiting a school administrator for a Primary School in Bredon which is a village near Pershore and Tewkesbury.

Our client is a mainstream 1 form entry primary school. The primary school is in a small village and is a 10-minute drive from Tewkesbury and Pershore. The office team are very welcoming, and the school has a great local reputation.

The school require a candidate who can provide effective administrative support as well as general receptionist duties and the successful candidate must have had previous experience working in a school office environment.

Responsibilities will include dealing with queries from parents and visitors, answering phones, inputting data, liaising with staff and filing.

This School Administrator role is to begin immediately, this is a temporary position with the contract finishing in June 2024. The position is full-time, with office hours from 8 am – 4 pm.

Required Skills and Experience for this School Administrator role:

  • Previous experience working within an administrator or receptionist role in a school environment. Applicants without school administrator experience will not be considered.
  • Strong IT Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection
  • Experience using SIMS.
  • Doing the register in the morning and afternoon.
