Flourish Education are recruiting a School Administrator to work at an Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school located near Harborne, Birmingham. The school boasts a small and friendly atmosphere where everyone works together to ensure that students develop personally and receive an excellent education.

Our client requires a School Administrator to support in the front office and are looking for someone who can provide effective general receptionist duties. The ideal Administrative Assistant would be someone with previous experience of working in a school, have strong IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office and the knowledge and experience of using either SIMS or Bromcom.

This School Administrator role is to start ASAP working Monday – Friday 08.30am – 15:45pm and is expected to continue until Whitsun.

Prior experience working in a school is essential to this role.

Required Skills and Experience for this School Administrator role:

  • Previous experience working in an administrator or receptionist role within a school
  • Strong IT Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection
  • Experience using SIMS or Bromcom

This Primary School role is based at a school near Harborne which is easily accessible from Selly Oak, Quinton, Edgbaston and Bournville. Onsite parking is available, but the school has excellent transport links for both the bus and train
