Science Teacher

This is due to start in September, which will either be full-time or part-time. If it is full time then you will be taking on the full class responsibilities. 

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in line with the National Curriculum
• Undertake full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment, and marking
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to maximise achievement
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning throughout the classroom
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Secondary School to support departmental objectives
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the Secondary School

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Applications welcomed from an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced Secondary Teacher
• Previous experience teaching Science within a Secondary School environment
• Excellent subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience as a Science Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Teacher, Classroom Teacher, or Subject Specialist is desirable

• £168 to £232 per day, which equates to £32,256 to £45,240 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience

This position is near Kidderminster and is easily commutable from Hagley, Pedmore, Stourbridge and Halesowen. The school benefits from excellent transport links, also with onsite parking available for staff.
