Are you a passionate Science teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Science teacher to begin their role in September.

This “good” OfSted rated secondary school are looking for a Science teacher to join their department for a Long-term teaching position beginning in September with the possibility of the position extending for longer.

Responsibilities for the Science Teacher role

• Deliver Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
• Full planning, marking and assessment required.
• Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
• Work with Head of Science Department to plan lessons.
• Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
• Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.

Required skills and experience for the Science Teacher role

• Experience in teaching Science in KS3 and 4 (Key stage 3 and 4).
• Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
• Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
• Previous Science Teacher experience.
