SEN Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Selly Oak supporting pupils across KS1–KS2 with Physical Disabilities, PMLD AND Complex Medical Needs. You will plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons, work alongside therapists and support staff, and help pupils achieve their individual EHCP outcomes.

The school has a nurturing and inclusive ethos, placing each pupil at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively with therapists, families and multidisciplinary teams to create a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, confidence and life skills while celebrating every achievement.

This SEN Teacher role is to start In September 2026 and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time with the potential to go temp to perm for the right individual. ECTs are encourage to apply.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with Physical Disabilities, PMLD & Complex Medical Needs
  • Excellent behaviour management and inclusive teaching practice.
  • UK school-based experience.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
  • Two excellent references.

Working for Flourish Education you will receive;
  • £168.80 to £232.57 day rate which equates to £32, 916 per annum to £45,351 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience)
