Were recruiting for a SEN Teacher for a long-term position at a highly supportive SEN School in Kidderminster, starting as soon as possible . This full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm) will involve teaching key stage 1.
You will deliver core subjects while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, and EBD. Learners may present challenging behaviours and often work below age-related expectations, so we are seeking individuals who can promote emotional regulation, foster positive engagement, and build strong, consistent learning routines.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and experience supporting pupils who may display emotional or behavioural challenges, with the ability to implement effective regulation strategies and deliver personalised, therapeutic support approaches.
- Background in working within a specialist school, PRU, or inclusive mainstream setting, supporting pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
- Familiarity with strategies for managing behaviour and supporting children with emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Confidence in planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs and learning outcomes.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices
Salary:
- £31,650 - £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week until the end of term

We are currently supporting an SEMH SEN School based in Kidderminster, which is dedicated to meeting the needs of pupils who require specialised emotional and behavioural support. The school works with young people presenting a wide range of needs, including SEMH, EBD and associated behavioural challenges. It provides a nurturing, highly structured environment where pupils are supported to re-engage with learning, develop positive coping strategies, and build confidence both academically and socially.
