Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher for a temporary, full-time role at a specialist primary school in South Birmingham. This role will start in September 2024 and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-3:30).

Our SEN Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in a pupil’s education and is based within a lovely SEN school with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. They are a small special school which prides itself in creating a happy, caring and supportive atmosphere where every pupil is encouraged and inspired to achieve their potential and develop a love of learning.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
  • Previous experience in supporting children with additional needs in Key Stage 1 (KS1)/Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Comfortable with providing personal care
