This SEN Teaching Assistant role will include:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with varying needs, including those in Reception and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment in line with the school's ethos.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress, reporting to teachers and SEN coordinators.
  • Collaborating with other TAs and teaching staff to develop effective strategies for student engagement and support.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly within KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive work-life balance while supporting students' development.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
