Job Description


Flourish Education is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Kenilworth. The school is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with additional learning needs.

This is a full-time position starting in September and continuing on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will support the pupil's learning, social and emotional development and implement tailored support strategies.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
  • Supporting communication, understanding, and engagement using appropriate strategies
  • Supporting access to the curriculum by adapting tasks, breaking learning into manageable steps
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of support.
Required Skills for SEN TA:
  • Experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs
  • Experience working within a Primary School or specialist provision
  • Strong understanding of SEND support strategies
  • Recent experience working within a UK school setting
Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £92.59 to £100.00 per day, equating to £18,049 to £19,500 per annum. (Based on experience)
