Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with experience in complex SEN needs?

Flourish Education are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Kingswinford, to appoint a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join their team from January 2026 on a full-time basis (8.30 to 3.30, 5 days per week) until July 2026.

This is an exclusive opportunity to join a school rated Good by Ofsted, where the leadership team places a high value on inclusive teaching practices and language development support. The school is two-form entry and has a growing need for SEN provision across the primary age range.

As an SEN teaching assistant, you will work to deliver targeted interventions and provide 1:1 support sessions when needed.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with complex needs.
  • Deliver targeted interventions across the primary age range, particularly in KS1. 
  • Monitor and track pupil progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and inclusion staff to integrate support into the wider curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting children with complex additional needs
  • Background as a qualified teacher (QTS) or experienced TA (Level 2 or Level 3) with relevant specialism.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.

Working as an SEN Teaching assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £88.92 to £100.00 per day, equating to £17,339 to £19,500 per annum based on a full school year.
