SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a village primary school in Ledbury. The school are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a child with additional needs in the EYFS. This is a full time position to start in September. 

This ideal candidate will have a kind and caring nature and previous experience of working with children with SEN. The school are looking for candidates who are willing to commit to a long-term position to ensure consistency for the child. You will work towards building a great 1-1 relationship with the child and their family, support their learning journey and earn the reward of seeing them flourish!

This role is to start in September, and will provisionally continue until the end of the academic year.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working within the Early Years
  • Experience of working with children with SEN
  • Committed to a long-term post

The benefits of working as an SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education:

  • £85 day rate to £95 day rate which equates to £16,575 per annum to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is located in Ledbury, and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Tewkesbury. The school has an onsite carpark, and is easily accessible via public transport.
