We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our OFSTED-rated "GOOD" school in Pershore. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' learning and development. If you are passionate about education and have excellent behaviour management skills, this opportunity is perfect for you.
This role will be in 2 form entry first and middle school with a friendly team. You will be working 4 days per week on 1:1 with a child in Year 6 who has significant trauma. This is for the whole academic year in Pershore. The correct applicant will need English and Maths GCSE’s.
This Teaching Assistant role will include:
- Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
- Support students across National Curriculum subjects
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with the Primary School teaching team
- Provide tailored support to students in Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Help with the preparation and organization of classroom resources
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Proven experience in a similar role within a Primary School
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Ability to support a 2 form entry first and middle school
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
