Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Rubery, on the Birmingham/ Worcestershire border. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time teaching assistant to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from Reception through to Year 6.
The school has an additional resource base to support children with Autism who haven’t been able to gain a special school place.

The school is located in a residential area and has close ties to the community. It has a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating and a very supportive SLT.

The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis supporting children in the resource basis.
This SEN teaching assistant role is due to start in January on a full-time, long-term basis.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:
Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting
A nurturing approach to learning
Experience supporting children with SEN

Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive:
Day rate up to £90 per day which equates to £17,550 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate

This Teaching Assistant role is situated near Rubery on the Birmingham/ Worcestershire border. Easily accessible by car or public transport from Bromsgrove, Redditch, Longbridge, Rubery, Northfield.
