SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a one-form entry, "GOOD" Ofsted-rated primary school in Southam.

This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Reception, supporting a child who is non-verbal and has Global Developmental Delay. The school is seeking a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships, implement behaviour strategies, and provide consistent support tailored to the child's needs.

The position is full-time, starting September 2026 and continuing until December 2026, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you must:
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have good knowledge and experience of working with SEND.
  • Have experience working in nurseries or primary schools as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service or have one issued within the last 12 months.
  • Provide a minimum of two excellent references.
  • Have recent UK school experience.

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant, you will receive:
 
  • £92.59 to £100.00 per day, equating to £18,049 to £19,500 per annum. (Based on experience)
