Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School located near Henley-In-Arden. The school is a tight community and wants to develop children who are supported in a learning community with high quality teaching.

The school is looking for a long-term part time dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team to provide support to children across KS1 and KS2. The role will include providing one-to-one support, working in small groups and delivering interventions. The children have a range of complex needs.

Our client is looking for someone to work in their school on a full time basis as soon as possible.
Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant role:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification
  • Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupils.
  • Build effective relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.
  • Experience within UK primary schools.
  • Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children.
  • Deliver interventions
Working as a Teaching Assistant for SEND Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:

This SEND Teaching Assistant role is based near Henley-in-Arden, which is easily accessible from Redditch, Alcester, Bidford-on-Avon, Stratford-upon-Avon, Wellesbourne, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Alvechurch, Dorridge and Claverdon.
