SEN Teaching Assistant Year 3

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work at a First School in the Bromsgrove area. Our client is looking to a recruit a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a long-term basis.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is to support a 1:1 in Year 3, who has sensory, and attachment needs starting from September for the full academic year.

The successful applicant would need to have a secure understanding on the First School curriculum, strong behaviour management skills, and previous experience of supporting those with SEN. The school are looking for candidates who are willing to commit to long-term position to ensure consistency for the children.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:       

  • Minium Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a UK Primary School
  • Committed to long term role
  • SEN experience is advantageous
  • Experience in supporting across KS2 is preferred

Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive:

  • Up to £95 per day which equates to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.

The position is in a First School in Bromsgrove and is easily to commute from Worcester, Studley, Redditch via car, bus and trains. The school offers onsite parking.
