Search jobsFlourish Education are working with a SEN School in South Birmingham who are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a short term and long-term basis. Our client provides excellent facilities across a variety of subjects to provide the best education for all students.
These Teaching Assistant roles are to support students within full class, small group and 1:1 environment across Key stage 3 and 4.
Suitable candidates will adopt a confident but calm approach, the children will excel with someone who has a calm and nurturing nature.
These SEN Teaching Assistant positions are part time and full time, to start immediately due to the school securing additional funding.
To apply to this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need the following:
· Level 3 Qualification or above
· At least 1 year of experience working within Schools
· Experience working with children with SEN
· Experience supporting children with Autism is desirable
· Strong Behaviour Management
Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
· Encourage and support child’s development and improve their access to the curriculum.
· To effectively support and manage the behaviour and routines of the pupils.
· Be able to support and work with pupils both in a full class and small group environment.
