Flourish Education are working with a fantastic Special Needs school in South Birmingham who have an urgent need for a Team Teach Trained TA to join them ASAP.

A Special School for pupils with a diverse range of SEN needs.

They cater for children who have a combination of learning needs.

They are committed to making sure that each and every one of their pupils experience a varied and diverse curriculum which is learned through tailoring the work to each student’s individual needs.

The school can offer you opportunities to develop and consolidate your skills, in the diverse and fast changing field of Special Education.

• They are a friendly, supportive and skilled staff team and work closely with parents and professionals from a number of other fields. This is a really exciting time to join the school.
  Your main duties would include:
  Inspiring and engaging with children with a range of complex autistic needs
• Supporting the children’s individual learning needs and working on a group basis.
• Assessing and reporting on individual pupil’s progress.
• Liaising with parents, carers and professionals, education welfare officers, social workers and Healthcare professionals.

You will Need

• To be Team Teach Trained

• A “learning is fun” attitude
• Able to work well in a team

• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Experience of working with children in a SEND school or resource base
