Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role?

A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Alcester is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September until the end of the Christmas term initially, with the potential for the role to continue.

This role is ideal for an experienced SEND Teacher who can confidently plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with a range of complex needs. You will be teaching a small class in Key Stage 1, providing tailored support to help each child achieve their individual learning and developmental goals.

As a SEND Teacher, you will plan, deliver and assess personalised learning for a small KS1 class of pupils with complex needs. You will create a safe, inclusive environment, adapting lessons to meet individual targets while supporting progress, independence and wellbeing.

To be successful in this SEND Teacher role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience working with children with complex needs.
  • A strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.


Working as a SEND Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • £168.80 to £232.57 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience

This SEND Teacher position is based in Alcester, which is easily commutable from Henley-in-Arden, Bidford-on-Avon and Stratford-upon-Avon, and the school offers onsite parking for staff.
