Are you experienced in supporting SEN pupils, and looking for the perfect opportunity in January?

Flourish Education is delighted to be working with a supportive and inclusive school in Dudley, who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their SEN resource base on a full-time basis from February.

This role involves supporting a small group of children with EHCPs, who present with a range of additional needs. You will work alongside an experienced class teacher and additional support staff to provide a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities for this SEN resource base role:

  • Support a small group of children within their resource base

  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver tailored activities and interventions

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to meet individual EHCP targets

  • Support children’s communication, social and emotional development

  • Implement strategies to support children with a range of additional needs

 

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, across key stages.
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references

Working for Flourish Education as an SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive
  • Competitive Salary – between £88.92-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £17,940-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

Our client is based in Dudley, easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Tipton, Brierley Hill, Rowley Regis, and Tividale. Parking is available on site.
