Flourish Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in Kings Norton, Birmingham. This role is to start immediately after the Easter Half Term and is a full-time position that is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.
The client school require an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support in a lower Key Stage 2 class. Requirements will include supporting the class teacher and providing 1:1 support and group support.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils with SEND 1:1 and in small groups
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Providing tailored support to pupils
- Helping children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning strategies
Required Skills and Experience:
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Experience working in a Primary School setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Passionate about providing a high level of SEND support
