The Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant, Include:

  • Support Class Teachers in delivering lessons and activities across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Help implement the National Curriculum, ensuring all students are engaged and motivated.
  • Support students’ emotional and social development, building their confidence and self-esteem.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification, Level 2 or Level 3.
  • Experience supporting students across the Primary age range.
  • Ability to work closely with Class Teachers to deliver effective learning strategies.
  • A clear understanding of the National Curriculum, with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Previous experience in a UK Primary School setting is essential.
