Job Description

Flourish Education, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking adaptable and reliable Day-to-Day Supply Teaching Assistants to support various schools in the Willenhall area. This role offers flexibility, providing assistance as and when required in diverse educational settings.

Flourish Education have worked in the area for coming up to 14 years and we have strong relationships with local schools. These local schools are seeking staff with previous experience with SEN and 1:1 needs – these can vary from role to role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to classrooms in the absence of the regular teaching assistant, ensuring continuity in students’ learning and well-being.
  • Assist teachers in delivering pre-prepared lessons or activities, following the established school plans and guidelines.
  • Engage with students and support their individual learning needs, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to understand and implement lesson plans and strategies effectively.
  • Help maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating classroom environment during the absence of the regular teaching assistant.

The schools are located in the Willenhall area which is easily accessible from the areas of Walsall, Bloxwich, Brownhills and Wolverhampton. For those travelling by car, most of the schools have on-site parking.
