We are recruiting for a Spanish Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham. This role is due to start after Easter until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching KS3 & KS4. You will be also be expected to plan and mark.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Teach Spanish throughout KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

Required skills and experience for the Spanish Teacher role:

  • Specialist in Modern foreign languages
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent Spanish.
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Spanish- Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Spanish.
